Marandi is an Associate Professor at the University of Tehran. He also chairs their North American studies department.
Discussion will focus on Iran, Syria and other Middle East issues.
Saturday, October 27 at noon US Central time: Jack Rasmus
Rasmus is Professor of Political Economy at St. Mary's College and Santa Clara University, CA. He's also a freelance journalist, frequent speaker, a playwright and author, including his latest book titled, "Epic Recession: Prelude to Global Depression."
His new book is titled, "Obama's Economy: Recovery for the Few."
His book and current views on the economy will be discussed.
Sunday, October 28 at noon US Central time: Finian Cunningham
Cunningham is a musician, writer and activist based in Northern Ireland when he's not on site elsewhere doing research.
Earlier he spent months in Bahrain, writing about brutal Al-Khalifa monarchy repression.
Currently, he's on the Horn of Africa. He's covering struggles in that strategic part of the world, but not ignoring other vital issues.
Key ones will be discussed.
